I am a retired university professor whose journey led me to Bowen Therapy. Many decades ago my sister survived a head-on car crash. After the four-hour surgery, when pieces of her shattered kneecap were removed, she had ongoing pain. Everyday life became especially challenging when she became a mother. Then she discovered Bowen Therapy.
A few years ago a friend visited from California. He wanted to hike but was having issues with his legs. Two Bowen sessions later, he was walking tracks around Mt. Taranaki and the Abel Tasman National Park.
Fast forward a couple of years to early retirement. I was looking for something to do that would help people and remembered the profound impact of Bowen Therapy on my sister and friend. Supervised hands-on training over two years was invaluable, along with the 70 case studies needed to get qualified, but it was the anatomy classes offered by University of Michigan that helped me understand why this therapy works.

Details
Bowen Therapy is a complementary therapy. It works alongside modern medical and healthcare practices so there is no expectation that you will stop taking medications. I have had multiple COVID vaccinations - I expect my clients to have had them also.
The cost is $200 for three sessions (of about an hour each), 5 -10 days apart. Further sessions are $80 each. For many people three sessions set them right. However, the longer you have been accommodating a particular pain, the longer it will take your body to sort itself out.
Sessions in Waikanae Beach will take place in my clinic at home.
Sessions in Honolulu will be in your home; my travel expenses extra.
